Dieter Drach was busy as a skilled steel fitters at the company INDEX in Spraitbach and Esslingen for about 19 years.
There his first responsibilities was the fixture, then later the work on the assembly for INDEX turning machines with focus on gear, clamping cylinder, spindle, tailstock and hydraulic unit.
Finally Dieter Drach was in action as a mechanic at home and abroad for 6 years.
After 19 years of service to the company INDEX 1994 he dared to jump into independence.
In the former factory site ARWA in Gaildorf -Unterrot the workshop of the one-man company was first housed.
The satisfaction of customers and related orders allowed an increase in the number of employees.
1999 followed a move into a larger and more modern premises in the Robert-Bosch-Strasse, after the number of employees had increased to 4.
In 2007, the service was extended to the maintenance, overhaul and repair of INDEX ABC machinery.
Since 2009, Dieter Drach GmbH now has its own factory in Daimlerstraße 22, which provides enough space on 1200m² for spare parts warehouse, used machines, office and working devices for the risen number of employees.
In 2019 we celebrated our 25th anniversary.
Today the Drach Dieter GmbH provides a wide range of services with 6 full time employees and 3 part-time employees.
